MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Dear Gabe,

What a difference grand babies make at Christmas time!  I can't begin to tell you how happy I was this morning watching the 3 little guys as they tore into the packages the many Santas left for them.  Quite honestly I'm not sure which was more fun... shopping for the little ones, or watching their faces when they saw each gift.

Art's girlfriend and her family spent Christmas Eve with us.  You would absolutely love Emily.  She's a little eccentric and we never know what color her hair will be from one day to the next, but she and Art are just the perfect couple.  I've already warned Art and her family that if they ever break up Art will have to leave because I'm keeping Em.  Her family is real cool too.  Becca and Em are best friends, and Art and her brother have been friends since Jr. high.

Kimmie and the boys spent the afternoon and evening at David's house.  We had a nice dinner with just us.  As usual we set a plate and glass for you.  Dad said grace for us... and you and your buddies.  We had ham, with candied yams (thanks Art!) and green beans.  I love these holiday meals because we all sit at the table together, say grace and talk about old times. Just think, by next year everything we do now will be 'old times'.  I'm so glad Kimmie and the little Oompas are with us now to become good old times.

I hope you had a great Christmas.  Thank you so much for bringing Kimmie and the little guys into our lives.  We miss you and love you so much!  Be safe,

Mom~

MERRY XMAS!!!

Merry Christmas Gabe!!!  Hope to see you again soon man!  The little dude's were fairly well behaved, so it was all pretty fun.

ARE YOU HAVING FUN YET?

Dear Gabe,

I saw Maurice Sweet this evening at Rocky's concert.  He said to tell you hi and to call him when you get in town.  He's staying at his mom's house helping her with the residents she keeps.  He's over 6 feet tall now, but still has the same soft spoken voice.  His mama is so proud of him.

The boys are settling in just fine.  They have all of the kids wrapped around their fingers.  Even Zack was playing 'peek-a-boo' with Ayden.  And he brought out Mr. Dragon for the little guys to play with.  Can you believe that?  I can, I knew it was just a matter of time.

Today is the first day it hasn't snowed since Friday.  We're going up to the mountains to cut down a Christmas tree on Sunday.  Dad bought the boys hats, gloves and boots the other day so they can go with us.  And although its almost 2 weeks late we're celebrating St. Nicholai on Saturday.  I thought your brothers and sisters had outgrown it, but I thought wrong.  They want to do the shoes too.  We'll set out one of your old shoes as well, just for shits and giggles.

Jim and Deb send their love, as does Miss Ellie.  Her club sent you a package so let me know when you get it so I can tell her.  Also, when you get the Christmas stockings addressed to you from Buffalo, New York could you please try to get a picture of you and the other guys with them?  My friend Debbie would like to have a picture to show the community that donated all the goodies.

Well, its late and I should hit the sack.  I'll be sending a prayer your way, as usual.  Be safe.

Miss you, love you!

MY LETTER!!!

Dear Gaka,

Hey Gabe. Well I figured you'd find out eventually, so here's your next hunting target. Hehe....this is Nick. Yeah. And that's all you need to know from me or your outside source. So anyways, I'm joining the Janitell Chess Team (I know I'm a Geek) and I quit bowling intramurals. Its Been really shaky after most of the teachers left for the other districts , so everyone's always crabby. Guess what? I changed your son's 10-pound diaper. Any more of that kinda stuff and he'll end up like you ; clogging the toilets and laughing every time it stinks up the place. Well, moms trying to take a nap and it's almost 10:00pm, so I'll talk to you later.Peace Love and Chicken Grease

Love you always,

~Rocky

Week 1

Dear Gabe,

Look at that precious little face.  I can't tell you how happy I have been these past few days.  And his big brothers are absolutely adorable.  Kimmie is such a trooper, you would be so proud of her.  I know I am.  That was quite a big step she took leaving the security of her family and moving out here with a house full of strangers.

She's been busy trying to get the little guys on WIC.  We were a little concerned about medical, but guess what came in the mail today?  A brochure from their old medical insurance company, addressed to you!  Talk about amazing!  Once we get Ryott's birth certificate we can get them all enrolled.

We are all just getting over some icky stomach bug.  The little guys got it really bad, and one after the other, and then Kim got it.  That poor thing was worn ragged, but she's an awesome mother and nursed them all through it.  I've still got Rocky home with me today, she had a rough day yesterday but must be feeling better now because she's been fussing all afternoon about how I wouldn't let her go to school after lunch today.

Drop us a line when you have time and let us know whats going on with your knee.  Shame on you for not telling your mama!  Okay, not really, but I am concerned.  Write me!

Be safe son.  Miss you, love you always! And don't worry about Kimmie and the boys.  They'll be fine.  I just hope we don't drive them nuts!
