GOO GOO GAA GAA!

Hi Zachary.  It was soooo cool to talk to you tonight.  Was your mean ole dad making you cry?  Next time just grab a handful of eyelid, he'll get you what you want real quick!  He used to pull that trick all the time.  I can't wait to see you.  Don't grow up too big too fast now, I want to be able to hold you!  And hey, I've got contacts so stay away from my eyelids.  Besides, I'm your Grandma Jojo.  All you have to do is blink and I'll get you what you want!  Thats my job, thats my revenge!  Don't worry, its a parent thing.  You'll understand one day when you have kids of your own (my great-grandbabies!)  Now, dry your eyes, wipe your nose on daddy's shirt and be a brave and strong little guy.  Stay healthy.  I know your mommy and Grandma Connie are taking good care of you.  Your pictures tell me that you are very happy... when your daddy isn't making you cry... One day, soon I hope, we will meet, and then I can teach you all the wonderful things your daddy did to me so you can do them to him.  Won't that be fun?

Until then, love you for always and forever.

DEAR KAYLE....

I'm still walking on air from your news Kayle.  I hope that things work out as planned and you are able to make the trip out here with little Zachary in August.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do on this end to help out.  If you can get here we can take care of the rest, don't even worry about that.  And thank you Kayle, thank you so very much!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

It feels strange wishing my son a Happy Father's Day, and yet its wonderful.  I love this picture, I think its my favorite.  This is the very first picture of you and little Zachary together.  When I first saw it I knew that I was seeing what love at first sight really looked like.  Happy Father's Day Gabriel.

I AM IN LOVE!

I am soooooo happy, as are you, quite obviously!  He's beautiful Gabe, he really is.  And I am so happy Kayle has allowed us into his life.  Now all I have to do is see him and hold him for myself.

Kayle, if you ever see this, thank you.

Miss you, love you (and my little grandbaby),

ON YOUR WAY TO SEE YOUR BABY!

Gabe,

I am so excited I can barely stand it.  Its been about 5 hours since dad gave me the news that you were going up to see little Zachary.  In approximately 4 more hours you should be holding him.  That is so awesome!  I'm jealous of dad, but at the same time I'm so glad that he can share the moment with you. Please give my grandbaby lots of hugs and kisses.

And tell Kayle that I said thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Miss you, love you,

Mom

RAKKASANS AND STRINGS

Hey Gabe, here's that picture Mrs. Renniger sent to the house.  Its so cool.  Your dad almost didn't recognize you in it.  And Zack scanned your old strings photo as well.  I hope you never forget how to play the violin, you were awesome on it.

Dad and Becca should be there sometime on Friday.  I wish I could be with them, but Art has summer school and I need to make sure he gets out to it.  When you see little Zachary, give him a big kiss for me okay?

Miss you, Love you!

GOOD GOLLY, ITS JUNE ALREADY!

When do you get to see little Zachary?  I sure would love to see a picture of him (hint, hint!)

Dad is driving out to Kentucky to pick up your cousins for a few weeks while Auntie Kesi adjusts to her medication and gets a much needed break.  He leaves on Thursday the 9th.  He's been trying to get in touch with you to see if you want him to drive you up to Ohio for a quick visit, so keep that in mind the next time you talk to Kayle.  He'll probably have Becca with him so she can help with the kids when they drive back.  He wanted for me to come along, but we can't all fit in the truck and I really don't want to burden Alex with watching the kids.  Maybe we'll be able to work something out on the return trip.

Grandma called today and sends her love.  She's trying to work in a trip next summer but money and time are short and tight there as well.  We'll just have to wait and see what happens.  Or as she says, maybe someone will win a sweepstake or lottery.  What ever or who ever, I can pretty much guarantee it won't be me!  It would be nice to have them over again though.  But what I really want is to go back to Hawaii, with no reunion or anything, just  so I can spend time visiting family.

I guess I better shut down for now.  Tomorrow is the air show at Peterson AFB and we'll have to get up early to catch some of it before I have to drop the boys off at Miss Ellies to help her pack and move.

Miss you baby doll, love you!
