GOT YOUR LETTER

We got your letter yesterday.  It was so nice to read it.  Even your dad was excited, and you know he doesn't get excited about much that doesn't involve a ball, bullets or big engines!  I've been sick for the past few days, but reading your letter actually  made me feel better for a little bit.

Well, I need to take a little time and do some running around.  I don't know if you'll ever read this, probably not, but it makes me feel better writing it.  I guess this is more for me than you, but who knows.  Maybe one day when you have a whole lot of time on your hands you'll bring this up.  And hopefully by that time you'll be more than a PV1, you'll be.... COMMANDER IN CHIEF!  Okay, probably not, but wow, wouldn't that be cool!

Miss you, Love you!

You called!

Just got your phone call.  I can't believe your goofy dad hung up on you... he was trying to put you on speaker phone.  See what happens when you give hillbillies like us a little technology?

Hurry up and write so I can start writing back.  I feel so helpless right now, waiting for the phone to ring.  You know I don't do waiting too well, and it seems everytime you call you just have enough time to say 'goodbye' before you have to go.

Love you, missing you, Mom

MISSING YOU, ARE YOU MISSING US?

Dear Gabe,
Last night was a long night for me.  I haven't heard from you in days.  I'm worried.  I know, I'm fussing for nothing, but I can't help it.  So, knowing that.... CALL ME!  I picked up some stamps so as soon as you CALL and give me an address I'll send them to you.  And then, if you can't CALL, at least you can WRITE!
Becca and I went to a skin-care party at Christy's new house.  Its huge, and gorgeous!  I got to meet the rest of her family, her aunt and neice, and her grandmother.  They are all halarious.  Her mom was there too.  She lives right down the block or so from the Bowmans.  Morla was there too, with her two little ones.  And of course Mike, but we threatened to do a facial on him so he hid upstairs.
We're going to be busy working on the rooms today.  Its funny how anxious the kids all were for you to leave so they could all have their own rooms, and now that you're gone, nobody wants to switch.  The computer room is kind of like a shrine of your junk.  Rocky has taken to sleeping on your futon.  She misses you so much.
You have several messages on your phone, I'll send you the numbers and addresses from your friends who left them.  Nothing from Kaylie yet.  I've got my fingers crossed.  You know I'll let you know as soon as I hear something.

Well Sugar Booger, I'm going to stop for now.  I'll be adding more as the mood hits me.  I'll probably include pieces of our conversations when you CALL, or WRITE!
Missing you,

Love Mom.
